ADLV specialises in unisex streetwear apparel and accessories, alongside collaborations with Disney, The Simpsons, and Care Bears.
Based on the French phrase acmé de la vie (the pinnacle of life), the brand was founded by twin brothers Jae-Mo Gu and Jin-Mo Gu.
The Korean label is known for its oversized ‘baby face’ hoodies and t-shirts featuring bold graphics.
CEO Jae-mo Koo and his brother Jin-mo Koo have been in the overseas luxury parallel import business for 10 years since 2008. Based on their sense of the STREET CASUAL concept and the various luxury brands they have dealt with, they launched acmé de la vie at the end of 2017. In its first year of launch, it made a huge impact not only in South Korea but also in the Asian Streetwear Fashion industry. Jae-mo Koo leads the management and Jin-mo Koo leads the design team.
acmé de la vie uses high quality domestic cotton fabric that maximizes weight and density through a special knitting process. The result is a fabric that has a distinctive luxurious feel to it.
acmé de la vie is regularly worn by South Korean celebrities and idols. The brand has opened 29 stores in China loved by casual streetwear enthusiasts as one of the top-ranking Asian High Street brands in Singapore and Malaysia. The plans are to open more than 20 stores in China, Australia and Philippines by 2021.
